PARABLE OF THE RAT

PARABLE OF THE RAT This relates to the journey of an IAS/IPS officer in his career. Stage 1: Rat is in its hole. He drags it out from it's hole and kills it. (0-5 years) Stage 2: He does not drag the rat if it's hiding in it's hole but if the rat comes out, he immediately kills it. (5-10 years). Stage 3: The rat comes out and is roaming about, eating this and that, but not disturbing him, he does nothing to the rat (10-20 years). Stage 4: Rat has come out, eating this and that. He does nothing. But if the rat bites his toe, he kills it (20-30 years). Stage 5: Rat comes out, eating this and that, even biting him, but he does nothing (25-30 years).
