A beautiful message

Sharing a beautiful message with you all-

A man,
who regularly attended family
& group meetings suddenly,
without any notice,
stopped participating.

After a few weeks, one very cold night the leader of that group decided to visit him.

He found the man at home, alone, sitting in front of a fireplace where a bright fire burned.

The man welcomed the leader.
There was great calm & silence.

The two men only watched the dancing flames around the logs that crackled in the fireplace.

After a few minutes the leader, without saying a word, examined the logs that formed the fire and selected one of them, glowing most brightly of all,
and removed it to the side with a pair of tongs.
Then he sat down again.

The host was paying attention to everything, fascinated.
Before long, the lone log’s flame subsided,
until there was only a momentary glow and the fire soon went out.

In a short time what was previously bright light and heat had become nothing more than a black dead piece of wood.

Very few words had been spoken since the greeting.

Before preparing to leave,
the leader picked up the useless piece of wood with the tongs  and placed it again in the middle of the fire.
Immediately,
the piece of wood was rekindled, fuelled by the light and heat of the burning logs around it.

When the leader was about to leave & had reached the door, the host said: ‘Thank you for your visit and for your beautiful lesson.
I'll return to the group soon.’

Why is a group important in our lives ?

Very simple:
Because each member that withdraws takes fire and heat from the rest.

It's worth reminding group members that, they are a part of the flame.

It's also good to remind us that we are all responsible for keeping each other's flame burning.

And we must promote the union among us so that the fire is really strong, effective and lasting.
Keep the fire burning.

*THE* *GROUP* *IS* *ALSO* *A* *FAMILY*
*It doesn't matter if sometimes we are bothered by so many messages, quarrels and misunderstandings*.

What matters is to be connected.

*We are here to meet, message, learn, exchange ideas or simply to know that we are not alone*

*Let's keep the flame alive.*

Question - Gurudev, what is the importance of rudra puja?

Question - Gurudev, what is the importance of rudra puja?

Gurudev Sri Sri - How did you feel after the puja? Rudra puja has been going on since centuries. It impacts the person and the environment. They say that the villages in which rudra puja is done, there will be no sickness. The important thing is to meditate. People perform this as a ritual, without devotion and they do not get any benefit out of it. These mantras affects the subtle world. Do not go looking for the meaning of the mantras. The vibration of the words is what is important. The pooja is done not for one or two people. It converts all the negativity into positivity. In 6 shaktis are are honored. They are Shiva, Vishnu Narayan, Ganapati, Surya, Maha Devi (Laxmi Saraswati & Shakti) and Gurutattva. Rudra puja reduces 4 types of doshas, pitrudosha, grahdosha, vastudosha, karmadosha. This puja balances tridosha i.e vatta, pita, kapha and it increases prana and sattva guna in us and the environment around us.

*'Uketamo'*

*'Uketamo'*

The Dewa Sanzan is a little-known mountain range in northern Japan.
Since the 8th century, it has been the sacred pilgrimage site for the Yamabushi monks who partake in yearly rituals seeking rebirth and enlightenment for their mind, body, and soul.

The core philosophy of their training can be summed in one word, 'Uketamo,' which means "I humbly accept with an open heart."

Here’s how it works:

You’re about to lose your job? Uketamo.

The forecast suddenly changed to downpour rain and now you must cancel your outdoor event? Uketamo.

Your best friend gets married, and you feel your relationship with them will never be the same. Uketamo.

You had a very silly accident and now you’ve fractured your left leg and are due to be in a cast for the next month? Uketamo.

'Uketamo' means acceptance to the core.
The Yamabushi understood that the sooner you can accept all the good and bad things life throws at you, the lighter you will feel.
They fathomed that we find our freedom through acceptance, and out of acceptance, we find our path to growth.

What freedom? The freedom to stop all forms of suffering.

What growth? The opportunity to learn and expand from our own struggles.

You see, we tend to assume that Zen is about living in an endless worry-free state of bliss and tranquillity.
Here’s a reality check: it’s not.

Zen is about how you face the challenges and difficulties life throws at you.
It’s about how you deal with the inevitable realities of failure, grief, worry, and loneliness.
Zen is in your response.
Will you accept the imperfect flow of life? Or will you fight it?
Will you find peace in what is right here, right now? Or will you deny it and thus continue your struggle with it?

The idea is quite simple: As you continue to resist, so will you continue to compound your suffering.

So the next time you feel overwhelmed or have an itch that just can’t get scratched, try 'Uketamo' and stay blessed forever.

*((OUR TRIP IS VERY SHORT))*

 *((OUR TRIP  IS  VERY SHORT))*

*It's so true and beautifully written:-*

A  woman climbed up the bus and sat down beside a man, hitting him with her numerous bags.

When the man remained silent,  the woman asked him why he did not complain when she hit him with her bags ?

The man replied with a Smile:
"There is no need to be upset about something so insignificant, as our *journey together is so short*
because I'm getting off at the next stop "

This answer disturbed the woman so much, she asked the man to excuse her  and thought the words needs to be written in gold.

Our time in this world is so short, that darkening it with useless arguments, jealousy, not forgiving others, discontentment and bad attitudes are a ridiculous waste of time and energy.

Did someone break your heart?  Stay calm.
*The trip is too short*

Did someone betray you, intimidate, cheat or humiliate you?
Relax - Don't be Stressed
*The trip is too short*.

Did someone insult you without reason?
Stay calm. Ignore it.
*The trip is too short*.

Did some  one make a comment  that you didn't like?
Stay calm. Ignore. Forgive, keep them in your prayers & love them still for no reason.

*The trip is too short*

Whatever the problems some bring to us, it is a problem only if we think of it, remember
that *our journey together is too short*.

No one knows the length of our trip. No one has seen tomorrow. Nobody knows when it will arrive at its stop.

*Our trip together is too short*

*Let us appreciate friends and family. Keep them in good humor. Respect them. Let us be respectful, kind, loving & forgiving*

Because we will be filled with gratitude and joy,
*After all Our trip together is very short.๐ŸŒน*

I worship that Sri Rama, by whose grace, Sri Hanuman, who has Sri Lakshmi kaTAkSha (grace), playfully crossed the ocean, reached Lanka after overcoming various obstacles, who after getting the status update from Sri Sita (wife of Sri Rama), destroyed the forest except Ashoka Vana, the place where Sri Sita  resided, then He destroyed the entire army (about 80 crores) headed by Akshaya Kumara, son of Ravana, by merely displaying the power of His palm, who after meeting Ravana in his chamber and burning Lanka into ashes, returned to Sri Rama to worship & Help Sri Rama along with other Vanaras.
