Rama vs Ravana
What if Ravan won the war against Ram?
It's impossible as Rama had Hanuman on his Side. We can see Rama almost lost the war when Indrajit unleashed his Brahmastra. Everyone on Rama's side(Including Rama and Lakshman) except Hanuman and Vibheeshan were Knocked out.
And that's When Jambavan (who was almost dead) says the following Dialogue (The GOAT statement in Ramayana.)
"If that brave Hanuma is surviving, the whole army even if killed, is unhurt. On the other hand, if Hanuma has given up is life, we are all dead, even though living."
And this is TO BE TAKEN 100 PERCENT LITERALLY. If not for Hanuman in this Scenario, Ravana would've been declared as the Victor of this war. But sadly for Him, Hanuman was there. He brought Celestial mountains from Himalayas containing divine herbs Including MritaSanjivani and revived all warriors of Rama's Army including Rama and Lakshmana.
Hanuman can single handledly defeat all these demons effortlessly. Even the Most powerful demon Indrajit couldn't defeat him In their Encounter.
The reality is Hanuman was severely holding Back (due to which Kumbhakarna and Ravana momentarily overpowered him) due to Seetha's Command as she wanted Rama to play Crucial role in her Rescue.
"O Hanuma, the annihilator of enemies! You are yourself surely sufficient single-handed completion of this task. Your elevated energy is creditable indeed.
"But, it will be appropriate for Rama, who destroys the hostile forces, to take me with him, after routing Lanka with his arrows."
"Therefore, you act in such a way that the high-souled Rama, valiant in battle, may exhibit prowess worthy of him."
Iff Hanuman had shown his true powers , HE WOULD'VE BEEN THE HERO OF RAMAYANA. Which neither Seetha nor Hanuman wanted to Happen.
O Marut’s son! There is nothing that is impossible for you. Ravana, with all his armies, was no match for you in battle.” ‘Having been thus addressed by Bhima, Hanuman, bull among monkeys, replied in a soft and deep voice. “O mighty-armed one! O descendant of the Bharata lineage! It is as you say. O Bhimasena! That evil rakshasa was no match for me. But if I had killed that Ravana, the thorn of the worlds, Raghava’s glory would have been diminished. That is the reason I ignored him..
