According to Hinduism, exactly how powerful is the name of Lord 'Ram'? It is unfathomable, it is incomprehensible to completely understand the glory of the 'Ram' nama that is the reson why it is called the taraka nama, it is said that lord shiva had revealed this great mantra to parvathi, he said Sri Rama Rama Rameti, Rame Rame Manorame; Sahasrenama tattulyam, Rama Nama Varanane Meaning: 1: By meditating on "Rama Rama Rama" (the Name of Rama), my Mind gets absorbed in the Divine Consciousness of Rama, which is Transcendental, 2: The Name of Rama is as Great as the Thousand Names of God(Vishnu sahasranama) Let me share a real life example of rama mantra chanting devotee, her name was kanakamma, who was an ardent devotee of shri rama & has also had nitya darshan of shri Ram, she started chanting rama nama when she was young, all the time walking, playing she used to chant this mantra, by the time she reached adulthood, she had recited the mantra millions of times, then started seeing rama in her dream, lord Rama guided her & lead her to spiritual realisation, this is the picture of the great devotee of Rama, who attained self realisation just by chanting Ram nama There was another devotee called ranganna babu who was also a great devotee of Rama, he actually started chanting rama nama by hearing a harikatha of a haridas, while hearing hari katha haridas said that anybody can see lord Rama just by chanting rama nama, ranganna was just a young kid, he wondered how is it possible, when he heard this & asked haridas “is it true that by only chanting rama nama you can see rama”, the haridas “yes ofcourse you can you just have to do it with full surrender & bhakti” Then ranganna babu started chanting rama nama everyday after that which gradually resulted in having Nithya darshan of lord Rama, he also had great divine powers through which he had healed many people, & when people thanked him for it, he gave all credits lord rama, this is the picture of that great devotee, you can see a blurred image of lord rama in his heart There are lot of other devotees of Rama who chant rama nama constantly, they also have miraculous experiences only through chanting rama nama, you just have to surrender yourself completely & express selfless bhakti towards god Jai Shri Ram
