Narayanastra.

Why didn't Dronacharya teach Narayanastra to Arjuna which had taught his son Aswatama? Because Arjuna never needed such a divine missile. Arjuna already received Brahmashira from Guru Drona and also had many other weapons too. Narayanastra was not needed for him. And we know what type of person Ashwatthama was, he forced his father to give him Brahmashira, it should not be surprising that he forced Dronacharya to give him the Narayanastra. - Mahabharata ,Ashika Parva, Chapter 1295(12) BORI CE. - Mahabharata, Ashika Parva, 12th Adhyaya, Gitapress. We can see from the above the that Ashwatthama asked for Brahmashira and his father was unwilling to give it to him, but his blind love for his son made him give him the missile. Same thing could have happened when he asked for the Narayanastra. The Narayanastra was received by Guru Drona from Narayana himself. Which he later passed on to Ashwatthama. Some idiots say Narayana gave it to Ashwatthama, well they have no idea about the Shloka nor the translation errors. The Gitapress says: - Mahabharata, Drona Parva, Narayanastra Moksha Parva, 195th Adhyaya, Gitapress. Now, the stupidity of Bibek Debroy is shown in his translation. The same Shloka is found in BORI CE, but let us see the translation: - Mahabharata, Drona Parva, Narayanastra Moksha Parva, Chapter 1143(166) BORI CE. Thre is a huge inconsistency here. Vishnu is addressing Guru Drona about the weapon, but then suddenly gives the warning to Ashwatthama? This is just poor translation by Debroy. Nothing surprising. He has made bogus translation throughout Mahabharata and also even in his translation of Ramayana. The Gitapress has given the translations accurately. Also use logic, Guru Drona performed the penance, not Ashwatthama, why will Vishnu give Ashwatthama the missile? It is just stupid and also has 0 logic. It is also a possibility that Dronacharya received this weapon after he taught the Kuru princes and hence did not have an opportunity to pass it on to Arjuna. However, Arjuna did possess all the missiles presided by Narayana as stated by Gangaputra Bhishma. OM NAMO BHAGAVATE RUDRAYA
