Is Lord Rama a real historical figure or a mythological character? If he is real, why is there a lack of evidence for his existence?

Is Lord Rama a real historical figure or a mythological character? If he is real, why is there a lack of evidence for his existence?

This is Dhruv Rathee,

He mocks Hinduism saying, “in the spider man movie they show London bridge, just because London bridge exists, that does mean spider man also exists.” Yup makes sense. However let’s dive deep.

There is a theory named Last Thursdayism.

According to this theory the world and pretty much everything was created last Thursday. You know what? it is impossible to disprove this theory even by greatest minds because the theory is not falsifiable.

Why? Because you may say you have a picture of yourself eating at McDonalds last year. This theory says, you, your McDonalds, your memory eating at McDonalds, your picture caught while eating at McDonalds, etc the entire thing created on last Thursday.

You know one mind blowing thing?

You cannot prove someone existed in past with absolute certainty. On a safer side let’s say it’s almost impossible.

I asked the same to Google’s Ai on my desktop.

Suppose how will I prove that a man named Ravi existed in 2000s?

I will say I saw him in my childhood. Dhruv will say I am lying.

I will bring 10 people who saw him. Dhruv will say all the ten are lying.

I will show him his picture. Dhruv will say it is AI generated.

I will show his skeleton. Dhruv will say how will I know if the skeleton is of Ravi only.

I will then try to establish dna test between skeleton with his grand child. Dhruv will say the accuracy is lower when you establish relationship between grand parent and grand son.

if I show his dairy entry, Dhruv will say it is not written by him.

Did you see? It’s difficult. Now just imagine how to prove Lord Rama existed thousands and thousands years back?

Yes, we do have evidences that falls in line such as we have real places, geography, bridges, astronomical references, cultural references, existing even today. They are not sufficient to most of them to believe I guess.

No matter how more evidence we bring in it will not be sufficient to prove Lord Rama existed beyond doubt.
