Hanuman and Arjun

Why are Hanuman and Arjuna so overrated? Hanuman was defeated by Ravana and Indrajit, Arjuna was defeated by Karna, Bhishma and ordinary robbers? They are weak, so why do fans love them? Hanuman ji and Arjuna are not overrated . In his previous birth Arjuna pleased Bhagwan Hanuman ji and asked him the boon to conquer all ten direction . । So beseeched by the king, Lord Hanuman being partial to his devotees, said so. । "Oh! Wise one! Win over ten directions. But, Hing! Do not try to win right now. । Oh! King! There is a great task to be performed in the 2nd Age of the World (dwāparayuga), which can be fulfilled by you only and in no other manner. King! For that purpose you will be born as of son of Indra. With Lord Krsna as a charioteer, with the same name Vijaya, you will win over the Kauravas. Then you will conquer the ten directions. For victory, victory-oriented Vaijayanti banner has to be invoked. Why so many words? I will be defeated by you. You will surely gain fame as ‘Monkey-Banner'ed (Kapidhwaja)'. So from this we can conclude Arjuna was blessed by Hanuman ji and how can person who have blessing to conquer 10 direction be defeated by likes of Bhisma , Karana etc . Regarding Hanuman ji how can someone think of him being overrated he is described as Parabrahman in many scriptures . Vedas praise him as a Supreme being . 53 Vedas call and praise you in this manner - the Supreme Being (puruşatatva) different from the Nature (prakrti), free of any ego and other viles, son of the Wind God Vayu, He is the ultimate Lord . । 54 One who is neither the doer (karta) nor the enjoyer (bhökta), one without any attachments, the ultimate lord (parameswara), dedicated to the truth (satyasandha), mighty strong one, dweller in the hearts of devotees, one full of compassion, He is the very form of bliss . 55 One that is unique due to the power of remembrance of knowledge, the very form of bliss, one who uses the offerings in the fire sacrifice (yagiya), one who give the fruit of fire sacrifice, with a unique single form (non-dualistic), He is the protector of all worlds and destroyer of everything at the end of the Yuga . त्रातारं सर्वलोकानां संहतांरमपि प्रभो! 56 Protector of all the worlds and destroyer (layakara) of everything at the end of the Yuga (time cycle), lord of lords! So does the Vedas praise. He is the very form of universe . Lord! I how to you, the very form of the entire universe. I bow to you, the lord of all brilliant forms (jyotirganah). I by to the one with undisturbed form, one with the complete form and to the very almighty. In Kamba Ramayana it is written that Brahma may die but Hanuman ji is eternal and Hanuman ji can fight like Lord Shiva . Even Maa Saraswati can't sing his glories to fullest . । Sanak, Sanandan and the other Rishis and great saints; Brahma - the god, Narada, Saraswati - the Divine Mother and the King of serpents sing Your glory . Yama, Kubera and the guardians of the four quarters; poets and scholars - none can express Your glory. So if sage like Narad Ji , and even Brahma Dev can't sing his glories to fullest then how can Hanuman ji be termed overrrated
