Dhrumkulya.

In Ramayan, Sri Ram have destroyed a place called Dhrumkulya. What place is that now? It is said that when Rama tried to place the Brahmastra angainst Varun, Then Varuna offered to help Raama by providing the Path to Lanka. But Raama has launched the Brahmastra so he targetted a place called Dhrumatulya which is supposed to be mordern Rajasthaan. and from that day Rajasthan became Marushthala(Desert).
