History of India:

History of India:-Once, Aurangzeb's army was on its way. They stopped at a place along the way, and the soldiers destroyed a farmer's entire field. They also destroyed the 'Than' (temple) built on the boundary of the field. When the farmer went to his field, he asked other farmers who had destroyed his fields. They told him that it was King Aurangzeb of Delhi... and that he had destroyed the 'Than' (memorial) of his ancestors. The farmer asked where the graves of Aurangzeb's ancestors were, and he was told that they were in Agra... and the farmer took his sons and went to Agra and destroyed the graves of Akbar and others... This farmer even formed an army to drive the Mughals out of the country. History bears witness that for many years, this Jat named Rajaram kept Aurangzeb at bay, even entering his bedroom once. It is said that Aurangzeb hid in a Begum's 52-yard long skirt... but later the farmer was caught and cut into pieces along with his son... It is said that Aurangzeb told the farmer that if he accepted Islam, he would marry his daughter to him... but the farmer did not bow down... he became immortal! From the Hindi translation of the travelogue and memoirs of French traveler Bernier, titled "Bloodless Dictator, Merciless Plunderer Aurangzeb.
