Why did Dronacharya teach 'chakravyuh' only to Arjuna? Why not other Pandavas or even Kauravas as they were his students as well? Can you share any references mentioning Dronacharya did not teach Chakravyuha to his other students? The reference in Mahabharata says that only Arjuna, Shirkrishna and Pradyumna were capable for breaking into it successfully. It doesn’t say that others did not know it. Knowing something doesn’t necessarily translate into the ability to execute it. Also a teacher teaching something doesn’t necessarily translate into all the students learning it with the same degree of effectiveness. My teacher taught me to code in Fortran 90 and I cannot write a code in any language. Does this mean that my teacher was partial to me and did not teach it to me. Dronacharya taught the Vyuha to all his students but only Arjuna among them was capable enough to execute it.
