How many times Krishna saved Arjuna? Lord Krishna saved Arjuna in five instances as per Vyasa Mahabharata. He saved Arjuna from the all-powerful Vaishnavastra of Bhagadatta on the 12th day of Kurukshetra war. He saved Arjuna from the Varuna mace of Sudakshina on the 14th day of Kurukshetra war. He saved Arjuna from the Vasavi dart of Karna on the 14th night when he deluded Karna's mind and made the Suta's son to hurl the invincible spear towards the colossal demon Ghatotkacha. He saved Arjuna's life from the snake-mouthed arrow of Karna in the final encounter on the 17th day. He protected Arjuna's life from the 11th day to the 17th day of Kurukshetra war wherein the two Kourava commanders namely Drona and Karna had destroyed the middle Pandava brother's Nandighosha chariot with their celestial missiles but the chariot remained undamaged due to the yogic power of the son of Vasudeva.
