Bombay Review and Other Stories
Ravi Valluri is the author of the book "Bombay Review & Other Stories". This is a compelling book as it blends stories inspired by real-life incidents. Major themes of the stories involve human emotions and situations like drama, romance, unrequited love, ambition, greed, murder mysteries, politics, legacies, ethical dilemmas, and more.
The majority of the characters are drawn from all walks of life. For example; writers, singers, artists, etc. I can say, most of the stories touch on occurrences that could easily be happening around us every day.
'The Book Thief' - this is quite interesting story in the book. Here the author talks about a police officer named Dr. Paul. He's quite passionate about solving murder cases and reading crime fiction. He finds clues in novels to crack tough cases. Sonia Kumar, a pharmacist from Indore with a love for writing, enjoys the outdoors and a luxurious lifestyle. Their paths cross in a tale blending crime-solving with personal ambitions. How does the story ends? Read it and know it all yourself!
The author finds inspiration in timeless epics like the Mahabharata, Panchatantra tales, and Zen stories which further makes the book interesting!
