Why do people say that Shiva defeated Arjuna if Krishna says that it was Arjuna who defeated Shiva when eight avatars of Shiva were defeated by Arjuna? Why doesn't anyone acknowledge Arjuna's victory?

Why do people say that Shiva defeated Arjuna if Krishna says that it was Arjuna who defeated Shiva when eight avatars of Shiva were defeated by Arjuna? Why doesn't anyone acknowledge Arjuna's victory? Hey anonymous let's get started with the world of common sense.. Nowhere it's written that Arjuna was even able to land a single strike against Shiva who wanted to test Arjuna's skill, and you are talking about Shiva the destroyer of time itself so not even Vishnu could defeat Shiva because work of Vishnu is maintenance not destruction. As Krishna was incarnation of Vishnu he knew Arjuna will need weapons to match the likes of Vijayadhanush of Karna which he got from Prashuram who received it from Shiva himself. So when agni asked Krishna's help, Krishna cleverly asked Arjuna to gain Gandiva from this circumstances, as the story dictates Arjuna said, I don't have any bow capable of handling the sheer power of my arrows which can even defeat the likes of Indra. So agni asked Varun and Varun gave Gandiva bow along with two inexustable quivers which were once used by Shiva himself. Then during the time in jungle, Vedavyasa rishi told Arjuna to worship Shiva so as to gain surmountable amount of power in form of knowledge of warfare and most powerful celestial weapons. Arjuna followed the advice, started praying to Shiva on Mount Indrakila, there he made a shiv linga and started chanting special mantra given to him by Vedavyasa rishi himself, Shiva was pleased and wanted to test Arjuna. Soon Arjuna heard a loud rampant voice of a boar so he assumed that boar as a demon trying to interrupt the puja of Arjuna, so Arjuna took his bow and aimed at boar and fired an arrow at the same time Shiva disguised as hunter also fired an arrow towards the boar. Lord Shiva’s arrow struck the boar in its hindquarters and Arjuna’s arrow struck the boar in its mouth, both started quarreling and soon a fight started, every arrow of Arjuna were easily countered by Hunter hence Arjuna was astonished, so he went to brawling and they both started wrestling soon Arjuna realized that the hunter was having unparalleled strength and so he folded his hand and asked, who are you oh great one because you certainly are not an ordinary hunter which you claimed, now Shiva appeared in his original form and Arjuna was ashmed of fighting with the one whom he was praying to, but Shiva said that he is pleased with the knowledge of Arjuna in warfare so he would grant any boon Arjuna desired. Then Arjuna asked for Pashupati Astra, so Shiva gave an inferior version of Pashupati Astra but this inferior version was also too powerful for any human hence Shiva presented the condition of not using it on any inferior enemy or else the energy from Pashupati Astra could destroy even the creation. Even this inferior version of Pashupati Astra was not known to any other Dev or humans, the Pashupati Astra of Prashuram or Bhishma or Drona were much inferior to this Pashupati Astra of Arjuna. Why the original Pashupati Astra were not given to humans?? Pashupati Astra was the strongest weapon given to humans (or rather original Pashupat Astra was never given to any humans, as original Pashupat Astra is strongest celestial weapon ever created. The whole combination of chariot+bow+ arrow+charioteer is real Pashupati Astra. The Brahma became charioteer, Earth became the chariot, Sun and Moon became the wheels of chariot, Meru became the bow, vasuki became the thread of bow, Vishnu himself became the arrow with Mahashiva as the destroyer of time and then Shiva smiled and Tripurasur was destroyed!! Can the likes of Arjuna even imagine the power of Shiva who is the destroyer of time itself hence known as devadhidev Mahadeva and Mahakal.
