The Art of Living is celebrating 35 years of service to humanity . The event has been aptly called the World Culture Festival . Festival means a period of celebration , typically for religious or spiritual reasons . The programme includes a series of concerts , musical shows and dances among others.

Gurudev has appropriately called the event , World Culture Festival , where talent pooled from the entire globe will be showcased and people attending the event would be transported to a spiritual and cultural stratosphere. A place where there are no fratricidal wars and only peace prevails. Those attending the festival will get soaked in spiritual , cultural and intellectual harmony .

Guided meditation conducted by Pujya Gurudev will be indeed a cathartic experience for the devout and those assembled . One will be purged of all negative thoughts and experience pure bliss.
Culture is a way of life of a group of people - the behaviour , beliefs , values , and symbols that they accept , generally without thinking about them , and are passed along by communication and imitation from one generation to the next.
I read today that around 1.5 lac people are expected to attend the World Culture Festival from the state of Gujarat . This shows the frenzy , devotion and commitment among the Art of Living followers in this western state of India , which is known for its rich tapestry and cultural heritage.
True to the motto of One World Family ( Vasudhaiva Kuttumbakam) and making life a true celebration , series of events have been planned to bring together people of talent, eminence and repute.
The festival will host millions across 155 countries. Apparently 10,000 musicians from across various states of India will play a symphony of 45 types of acoustic instruments. 22,000 Indian folk and classical dancers will perform on a single stage. It is expected that 5000 dance performers from various countries such as Japan, China, Indonesia, South America, Pakistan, Malaysia , Russia among others would perform on one stage under one roof.
There will be an interfaith meet of 2000 saints from all religions to share the gospel truth of peace and non violence . Also 2000 Vedic Pandits from various Gurukuls of India will chant in unison to promote world peace.
In this extravaganza , culture , talent of various would be exhibited and showcased , celebrating a certain degree of uniqueness.
Alongside , the World Culture Festival , entrepreneurs and leaders will analyse current paradigms of leadership models . This will provide a platform to explore strategies to adapt in an increasingly globalised and a wired world. The world has become flat and demands and challenges are enormous. Political cacaphony is to be replaced by spiritual symphony.
