Congratulations! to the team MMRC, MAPLE and Alstom. Entire 33.5 km long fully Underground Line 3 of Mumbai Metro was successfully commissioned yesterday and inaugurated by Hon'ble PM. Presently it is running with 8-car trains at 5 min frequency. Operations are being managed by team DMRC. It has CBTC signalling, AC stations with PSD and is designed for driverless operations. Most of the train-pilots are women. It is now possible to buy a single ticket for travelling on multiple lines, local trains and buses with Mumbai One App. It connects the business districts of Cuffeparade, Churchgate, CSTM, Kalbadevi, Lower Parel, BKC; important places like Flora fountain, girgaon, mumbai central, worli, sidhivinayak temple, dadar, bandra, Santacruz, both the terminals T1 & T2 of airport, Marol Ind area and SEEPZ. It is expected to be the most crowded Metro Line in Mumbai. A boon for Mumbaikars
