How many wives does Lord Shiva have?

How many wives does Lord Shiva have? Lord Shiva is said to have had four wives, and their stories are recounted in the Puranas. Mata Sati was Lord Shiva's first wife. According to legend, Prajapati Daksha, one of the Manas sons of Brahma, lived in the Himalayan region and had two wives named Prasuti and Veerani. Shiva's female consort is known under various manifestations as Uma, Sati, Parvati, Durga, and Kali; Shiva is also sometimes paired with Shakti, the embodiment of power. The divine couple, together with their sons—Skanda and the elephant-headed Ganesha—are said to dwell on Mount Kailasa in the Himalayas. REAL WIFE OF LORD SHIVA Parvati is the wife of the Hindu god Shiva. She is the reincarnation of Sati, the first wife of Shiva who immolated herself during a yajna (fire-sacrifice). Parvati is the daughter of the mountain-king Himavan and queen Mena. Parvati is the mother of the Hindu deities Ganesha and Kartikeya. Bhagwan Shiv, one of the major deities in our Hinduism is believed to have two primary consorts Mata Parvati and Mata Sati. Bhagwan Shiv and Mata Parvati are considered the ideal couple in our Hindu Vedic Scriptures, symbolizing the divine union of male and female energies
