21 DAYS of Shut down and what we can do at home.



As  India braces for  a major lockdown for the next twenty one days to combat Corana Virus  and the pandemic which is assuming alaming proportions ,  some steps which need to be taken  taken while being at home.

1)  To beging with , we need to be at home.  Just be at home. Only at home and as the Hon'bl  Prime Minister exhorted people with folded hands  not to cross  cross the Lakshman Rekha.
2) Maintain absolute  social distancing
3) Read - positive  and inspirational literature to uplift your and the families mood and sentiments.
4) Pray , sincerely pray to the almighy  and be grateful to doctors , paramedics , a  strong Prime Minister who is on a mission and taking decisive steps ( though cassandras of doom will always criticise) , armed and police forces and those moving essential commodities ( which includes railways)
5) We in railways need your prayers to run freight trains  ferrying essential commodities.
6) Sanitation workers , milk vendors , those supplying vegetables and fruits.
4) This is the time to read inspirational literature and scriptures .  Read Hanuman Chalisa, Bhagvad Gita, Sundar Kand , RamCharitra Manas  and other holy literature whatever your religion be.
5) Puruse hobbies  which one could not on account of pressure of work or ennui.
6) Be creative- do some gardening , learn cooking , stitching et all.
7) We have to take of our health.
8)  Walking and jogging at home.
9) Practice Yoga. 
10) Practice Sri Sri Yoga  .  This is  because gymns are shut down and one cannot take a morning and evening walk.
11) Suryanamskars - 108 times ideal.   However do as many as possible to strengthen the body immune system.
12 ) Those who have learnt Padmasadhana ( in the DSN course of Art of Living ) practice it atleast 4 times a day. Twice in the morning and twice in the evenings.
13) Meditate atleast twice daily . Pujya Gurudev is conducting  regular online meditation sessions.
14) Listen to Om Namaha Shiavaya Meditation, Rudram, Argala Stotram ,  Kala Bhairava Ashtaka and Rudram Chanting..
13) Avoid sugar totally to boost immune system.
14) Reduce intake of food and salt.
15) Those who have leant Sudarshan Kriya , practice it unflinchingly.
16) Do Nadi Shodhan Pranayama , Kapalbhatti to bolster immune system.
This is quite a handful -- start today.
