Why celebrate Janmashtami?

Why celebrate Janmashtami?

For a minute stop thinking of Krishna as God.
Think of Him as a common person. You will find He is one of the very few in the whole of human consciousness who is tremendously in love with life, with the poetry of life, with the music of life, with the dance of life.
He is not at all life-negative, He is very affirmative.
And He accepts life as it is.
He has opposites, He is not rigid to stick by a single thought and He has the power to rebel against the society!

He doesn't stop for anyone, and at the same time He doesn't think twice before helping the one who needs Him.
He harbours no hatred against anyone, but also makes sure that the wrong are punished.

Krishna is a symbol of what life really means. A celebration of love, happiness, togetherness and joy!

If you look at Krishna, His flute, his dress, his posture.. He is never serious.. At the same time He keeps a keen eye on everyone.

Krishna is the song of life, the song of unparalleled and never ending happiness.

On Janmashtami don't just celebrate the birth of a Supreme Personality, but also celebrate it as the day when you start changing your personality towards His.

Remember Life is full of Bliss... You just need to awaken the Krishna in your heart.

Then everyday will be...

HAPPY JANMASHTAMI!!

Hare Krishna🙏
