Kalpa- As shared

Kalpa 2-Vedic Time peroid: The total lifespan of our Universe is 311 trillion and 40 Billion years. This Universe is 155.522 trillion years old and it will end in 155.518 trillion years time. This calculation is based on the life of Lord Brahma. Puranic literature describes that there are billions of universes in the casual ocean, which in turn contains with billions of stars and planets, with varied living beings. Our planet Earth is simply a drop in the ocean of Planets.
The puranic literature describes not only 'Material' creation with billions of universes, whcih constitutes only a quarter of srishti (creation), but it also talks about the other three quarters of srishti (creation), which is 'Spiritual'. This spiritual realms are called Vaikunthaloka, resided by Vishnu tattavas and rishis belonging to higher realms.
During the lifetime of each universe, there are partial srishti (creations) and pralaya (annihilation). At the beginning of each day of Lord Brahma, there is creation and at the end of each day there is partial annihilation. One day of Lord Brahma is 4.32 billion years; the night is also of the same duration. We are currently half way through the current day of Brahma, thus we have existed for approximately 2.16 billions years in the current small cycle. The timeline of life on earth is similar scientifically.
A day of Lord Brahma is equivalent to one Kalpa, which itself consists of 14 manvantaras as mentioned—1.Swayambhuv, 2.Swarochis, 3.Uttam, 4.Tamas, 5.Raivat, 6.Chakshush, 7.Vaivaswat, 8.Savarnik, 9.Daksha Savarnik, 10.Brahm Savarnik, 11.Dharma Savarnik, 12.Rudra Savarnik, 13.Rudra Savarnik, and 14.Indra Savarnik. Each manvantara is little more than 71 mahayugas. We know that each mahayuga is 4.32 million years long, and consists of 4 parts: satyayuga, tretayuga, dwaparayuga and kaliyuga.
We are currently in the 7th Vaivaswat manvantara, and in the klaiyuga of 28th mahayuga, which started about 12 crore years ago, as per puranic timeline.
