My affair with a married man ended terribly. Will he hate me forever, or will he eventually miss me? First, we need to know why it ended terribly to give you an answer… Did you tell his wife? Did you see other people? Did you just cut him off? How long were you seeing him? None of us can predict what he will feel and do. At this point though, why does it matter? The relationship probably wasn't going where you wanted it to go, just like for so many of the rest of us in this situation. If it's over, it's in your best interest to try to get over him, and move on to someone who might actually be available for a relationship, rather than dwelling on what probably ended because of your unhappiness with him, or his unhappiness with you.
