At the end of Mahabharat what happened to kripacharya and kiratvarma did they join Pandavas? After the end of the war, when Ashwatthama fraudulently killed the sons of Draupadi in the night, Kritavarma as well as Kripacharya were guarding him outside. Kritavarma: He escaped from Pandav. He returned to his kingdom after the war.Satyaki then rising up in anger said that he would kill Kritavarma for slaying the warriors of the Pandava army while they were asleep. Having said this he rushed towards Kritavarma and severed his head with a sword. Kripacharya : VedVyasa asked Pandavas to spare Kripa as he was the guru of Pandav. After the Kurukshetra war, he taught Parikshit, the grandson of Arjuna. Kripacharya is shown as the immortal combatant and ruling sage of the modern age.
