Who is the greatest devotee of Lord Vishnu?

Who is the greatest devotee of Lord Vishnu? This is actually answered in a story. Same question was raised in Vaikunta Loka, the residence of Lord Vishnu. Narada Muni said I am your greatest devotee. Lord Vishnu asked why do you feel so? “I never forget you my lord, I always take your name, Narayan-Narayan” claimed Narada. Vishnu said look at that farmer on the earth doing his work, he is my biggest devotee. Narada Muni didn’t believe and asked lord Vishnu to take a test. As a result, Vishnu gave a task to both Narada Muni and the farmer on the earth. The task was simple yet difficult. Both Narada Muni and farmer were provided with a bowl full of water. There is no space left in the bowl. Every bit of the bowl was filled with water. Narada muni’s task was to travel the three worlds without dropping a single drop of water. Farmer’s task was to travel round his field without dropping a single drop of water. Narada muni completes the task successfully and claims he is the biggest devotee. Lord Vishnu said now let’s see if farmer also completes the task. Interestingly farmer also completes the task successfully. Lord Vishnu says you both completed the task but there is one little difference. The difference was that Narada Muni’s concentration was entirely at the bowl and hence he forgot to say Narayan-Narayan. However, the farmer kept on saying Narayan-Narayan even while doing the task. Anyone who is always in Bhakti of lord Vishnu is the greatest devotee. It can be you or anyone else.
