Bhagwan Vishnu

ws reside, Rohiṇī, the wife of Vasudeva, is living at the home of Nanda Mahārāja. Other wives of Vasudeva are also living there incognito because of fear of Kaṁsa. Please go there. Also Bhagwan Vishnu blessed her with the boon that those who are devoted to her shall also get protection by him Harivamsha Purana Mahabharata 52. O sleep, you are greatly fond of an offering of meat. You will therefore, on a Navami,[2] receive, on earth, worship accompanied by the sacrifice of beasts. 53. Children or wealth, it will not be difficult to acquire any of these for him, who, amongst men cognizant of my prowess, will bow unto you. 54. You will save them all from danger, those who will be tired in a huge forest, those who will be drowned in a mighty deep, those who will be attacked by robbers. 55. O auspicious lady, I will not kill him who will propitiate you with devotion nor will he meet with ruin at my hands". Mata Parvati is the best devotee of Bhagwan Vishnu and she worships him in a sisterly way. Padma Puran 61-69. Speaking like this, Pārvatī, the best devotee of Viṣṇu, lived happily in all conditions with her husband on the Kailāsa mountain, repeating the formula: ‘Salutation to Rāma, Rāmabhadra, Rāmacandra, the Creator, to Raghunātha, the lord, the husband of Sītā.’ O king, I have told you all this topmost secret. O king, the religious treatises proclaimed by Rudra are vicious (tāmasa). The bull-bannered (god) narrated them for deluding people. Lord Śiva told this one in private to the goddess. The lord, highly devoted to her, told the goddess this significant gist of the hymn, with a hidden meaning, through love for her, O king. He who would listen to or recite with a mind full of devotion, this wonderful dialogue between Umā and the great Lord, would be an omniscient and great devotee of Viṣṇu. Being free from all practices, he obtains the highest position. O very mighty lord of kings, in your dynasty Viṣṇu, the propitious highest lord, will be born as Daśaratha’s son for the good of all people. Therefore, the Ikṣvākus, among whom lord Rāma, of lotus-like eyes, is born, are honoured even by gods, O king. She worshipped Shri Krishna (Narayana) with utmost devotion to get a son just like him. Brahma Vaivarta Purana Goddess Parvatl visualised the form of Krsna in her mind devoted toward him, in the form of the lustre which was quite surprising. He was wearing a garland studded with jewels, a beautiful garland of rubies, the yellow garments purified by fire, the best of all and bestower of progeny; his throat was adorned with the garland of forest flowers, had a dark complexion, was adorned with ornaments, was clad in garments studded with gems, was of tender age, was clad in astonishing costumes decorated with sandalpaste, a beautiful serene smile on the face, putting to shame the lustre of the moon of the winter season, wearing a garland of jasmine flowers, placing the feather of a peacock on the head, surrounded by the cowherdesses, illumining by embracing Radha, lowering the glory of crores of gods of love, quite pleasant to look at, joyful and the one who bestowed the grace on the devotees. At the sight of the lord, the beautiful goddess Parvatl desired in her mind to have a son like him. She was granted the boon at the same time, Krsna the lord of bestower of boons, was the form of lustre fulfilling the desire of all the gods and than disappeared from the same place. Also in the Meenakshi avatar of Mata Parvati, the Kanyadan Sanskar was done by Lord Vishnu as her brother. So we can definitely say that Mata Parvati is very dear to Lord Vishnu as his sister.
