In November 2021, I was in the middle of doing Meru Chikitsa case study sessions with my parents. My certification required 24 continuous sessions, and due to COVID-19, finding participants was a challenge. My parents didn’t have any significant health issues, but they understood how important this was for me and agreed to be there for the sessions. Little did any of us know just how transformative these sessions would be.

To everyone’s amazement, my parents not only kept up but were often the quickest and most energetic in their group. Fellow travelers applauded their stamina and energy—something even they hadn’t expected.
When they returned, they couldn’t stop talking about how great they felt throughout the trip. No fatigue, no aches—just pure energy. That’s when I reminded them about the Meru Chikitsa sessions they had undergone in November. They looked at me, a little surprised and in agreement, and asked, “Do you think that’s why?!” I just smiled and hugged them, in gratitude.
