Rama and Krishna
In the epics of India, why is Lord Ram not worshipped during the time of Lord Krishna? Lord Ram existed long before Lord Krishna. When did Ram become Lord Ram? Did people start worshipping Ram in later years?
It is a misconception that Lord Ram wasn't worshipped in ancient times or in during the time of Lord Krishna.
Biggest proof: we have history itself, that lord Shri Ram is worshipped during the reign of Lord Krishna.
Shri Ram Mandir, Triprayar Kerala
Triprayar temple is dedicated to 4 handed form of Prabhu Sri Rama, holding bow (Kodhanda), garland, conch and discus, which is said to have been worshipped by Lord Krishna himself in Dwarka.
Yes! The deity of Lord Rama was initially worshipped by Lord Krishna at Dwaraka. After the submerge of Sri Krishna's city Dwarka, the deity of Sri Rama that was worshipped by him was immersed into the sea.
Later, was discovered by a fisher men in Triprayar Kerala
Out of the four idols discovered by fisher men, the Sree Rama's deity was the most important. Vakkayil Kaimal decided to install it in Triprayar.
It is said that when the deity of Rama was discovered and was about to be consecrated, it was divinely ordained that a peacock would appear and mark the exact time for installation.
Kaimal and his men waited for a long time for the
peacock but it didn't appeared. Apparently the Tanthri (chief priest) installed the idol when a devotee bearing peacock feathers appeared. Soon after the installation the peacock appeared in front of the Sreekovil. It is said that the priests and Kaimal regretted their decision later and to make up for this deficiency the sacrificial stone or the valiya balikkallu was installed at the spot marked by the peacock. Hence the balikkal is said to have the same importance as the deity itself.
Tipu Sultan's Attack
Tipu Sultan did not spare Triprayar Thevar also. To test the divinity of the idol he struck at one of the hands. Blood started oozing. He repented his action and developed faith and devotion to the god. To make amends he donated to the temple some of the landed property he had annexed.

(Śri Ādi-Purāna)
Lord Śri Krshna to Arjuna:
"With full reverence and great love, all the time, I (Krishna) remember sri Rama Naam. Sr Rāma' Naam is Jagadguru (Guru of all worlds). Not for a single
moment, I miss the rememebrance of Śrī Rām Naam.
O Arjuna, My words are verily true, true and true alone.
Jay Shri Rama 🙏
