My husband (60) is having an affair with a 28-year-old coworker. What can I do? High-five him! ;) Kidding. It is very odd though. I mean, a 60 year old guy high up the working world food chain + great looking for his age, would be able to get an average-looking Jane of 28 who’s not sexually conservative and wants to work her way up the food chain, too. And the older guy being married can increase interest with some, just as it can decrease interest with many. So yeah, even though this is odd and unexpected, it is technically a possible scenario. Basically you tell him you know about this, and we gotta call this marriage off. End it. Even if you doing so shocks him to not want to be in said relationship with the gal anymore, it’s still not going to solve the problem underneath it all. He’s not going to be fulfilled with your marriage down the line after said dust settles away from any current women. It boils down to the reason why he ended up not merely having an isolated incident crossing fidelity lines with a good looking woman when on vacation with some friends — but had an affair with another woman. Much bigger concept. Don’t let your defense mechanisms take you over to downplay it. Ya gotta break it off.
