Jarasandha defeated Krishna 17 times. Was Baldeva also defeated by Jarasandha? Jarasandha attacked Shrikrishna 17 times. He defeated Shrikrishna exactly zero times. Every time Jarasandha attacked, he was defeated by Yadava armies led by Shrikrishna and Balarama. On one occasion Balarama was about to kill Jarasandha but Shrikrishna stopped him because he was destined to die at the hands of Bhimasena. Repeated attacks from Jarasandha (he was relentless) had become a nuisance for the Yadavas and were disrupting their daily lives hence Shrikrishna suggested Yadavas to migrate to Dwaraka.
