Is it true that Verabhadra defeated Vishnu during Daksha Yagya Vinasha?
Veerabhadra is a dustmite compared to Maha Vishnu. He was defeated by Hanuman in some stories.
Even Vishnu's own avatar seshnag is infinitely more powerful than Veerabhadra who literally bears the weight of the entire cosmos and has enough power to burn the entire universe
O Rama! You appear as Sesha, a large serpent in water, at the earth's bottom, bearing the three worlds, gods, Gandharvas, the celestial musicians and the demons." (VR )
Next the great fire of annihilation will flare up from the mouth of Lord Saṅkarṣaṇa. Carried by the mighty force of the wind, this fire will burn throughout the universe, scorching the lifeless cosmic shell.
Text 10: Burned from all sides — from above by the blazing sun and from below by the fire of Lord Saṅkarṣaṇa — the universal sphere will glow like a burning ball
(Bhagwat purana)
Vishnu killed two demons who were threat to Brahma with a single arrow .
When he was lying down on the great ocean and could not be seen by the gods and the asuras, the god Svayambhu created this arrow. While he was invisible to all creatures and was filled with rage in a desire to kill the evil-souled Madhu and Kaitabha, the brave one fashioned this excellent arrow. Desiring to create the three worlds, he used this excellent arrow to kill those two in the battle and created the worlds.
Vishnu is Ajith and Aja . Literally no one can defeat him or even save someone if he tries to kill them .
"Either Brahma the self-existing god with four faces or Rudra with three eyes and the destroyer of Tripura (the city built of gold, silver and iron in the sky, air and earth, by Maya for the demons and burnt by Shiva), or Mahendra the god of atmosphere and sky as also the lord of celestials would not be able to protect the one to be killed by Rama in battle."
Anyone who believes such stories are dull witted asuras
