During the last century (1884 – 1960), Sri Krishna Thirtha Maharaj, reintroduced the Vedic Mathematics through his relentless research work with the available information at Shringeri mutt between 1911-1913. He was a renowned scholar with numerous records against his name and was indeed a genius. He was the Sankaracharya at Saradha Peeth during 1921-1925 and once again adorned the position at Gowardhan Peet during 1925 – 1960.
