Unto YOU a Saviour is born . . .

A Time of Loving

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son.”  John 3:16a

And so! we might ponder about;

This Christmas we too will be faced with people that need our love.  At times it will be easy to give our love.  Sometimes it will take a lot of effort and maybe there will be times when it seems almost impossible to love.  When we face those moments, we need to remember that God is waiting to pour his love into our hearts to share with others.  As the love of God who gave his only Son, fills our hearts we will be able to love the unlovely in our world as Jesus did

The homeless people who walk the streets of our town . . .right past our church doors.  Their hair is straggly, their body odour is pungent, their clothing. Whatever they are in our midst especially in these dire hard times caused by the ravaging epidemic which has been with us for neigh on two years.

In closing I would like to quote the words from a song about Christmas & Santa that I hear yesterday. The punch line was;

Can we spread the Christmas Cheer ( in it’s deep spiritual sense ) everyday of the year

For Santa is just a another man who comes once a year.
