*THE GREAT CHASE - RABBIT Vs HUNTING HOUNDS*
( With a bit of Management lesson)
*The
Salukis are pure-bred hunting hounds, used by the royalty in the Middle
East, basically for hunting game animals. This breed of hunting hounds,
hunt primarily by sight, rather than scent.*
This video, filmed by a drone, is of *THE GREAT CHASE by two fierce Saluki Dogs, behind a Rabbit.*
*The
highlights of the chase, are the unbelievable speeds, the incredible
acceleration, and the awesome manoeuvring by the Rabbit, to dodge &
shake off the Salukis, from it's "tail".* Amazing display of *survival
instincts!*
Watch how the Rabbit, with small lungs, and small feet, can be seen visibly struggling in the sands & over the sand dunes.
But, *the SWOT Analysis,* places the Rabbit at an *incredibly higher pedestal with respect to it's survivability features.*
*Rabbits
have an excellent sense of smell, hearing & vision. They have
nearly 360 degrees panoramic vision, allowing them to detect predators
from all directions. They can see everything behind them & only have
a small blind-spot in front of their nose. Rabbits have extremely
strong hind limbs, which allows them to leap great distances. They can
jump up to 1 metre high & 3 metres long.*
With this as the backdrop, *the big question remains:*
*Can the swift & ferocious Salukis, catch the Rabbit , before it manages to enter it’s burrow?*
This video is Exceptional...Amazing technology. The desert looks stunning!!!!
The chase is awesome!
*In the turn, or with "on-the-spot 180 degrees move", the Rabbit is able to out-manoeuvre the Dogs completely.*
The Dogs too, are a sight to watch! *Over the last hillock, the Dogs do a clean leap, with over a metre clearance.*
