Can Karna kill Lord Rama with Vasavi Shakti?

Can Karna kill Lord Rama with Vasavi Shakti? Short answer No. Karna was not capable of killing Lord Rama with Vasavi Shakt. Firstly what makes the Vasavi Shakti powerful is the boon attached to it. Vasavi Shakti was infallible as it was empowered by boon of Indra and had the ability to kill anyone otherwise other weapons of Arjuna could have easily countered it if not for the boon. This is what Karna asked from Indra:- Do thou, O Vasava, in exchange for my coat of mail and ear-rings, give me a dart incapable of being baffled, and competent to destroy hosts of enemies when arrayed in order of battle!'. And Indra says that Karna can kill anyone using the Vasavi shakti be it a demon, god or gandharva Whoever you wish to kill among the gods, the asuras, humans, gandharvas, uragas and rakshasas with this weapon, will certainly be killed.” Earlier, he was known by the name of Vasushena. But after this deed, he became known by the name of Vaikartana Karna.’267 Bori ce Section Seven Sambhava Parva chapter 104 Ved Vyasa and Krishna accepted that if not for Krishna Karna would have killed Arjuna by Vasavi Shakti not NOT BECAUSE OF HIS EFFORT but thanks to his divine intervention. There is no chance that Arjuna - or anyone, for that matter, could stop the Vasavi, not even Rama. The difference is that whilst Rama and Lakshmana, being Vishnu, will get up to fight again, Arjuna would be killed, just as he was by a posioned lake, and when he fell from a mountain and died. Whereas divine avataras of Vishnu like Balarama, Lakshmana, Rama and Krishna all leave the world of their own accord and even if wounded in battle, do not face death. About Vasavi Shakti Lord Rama would not try to counter the Vasavi Shakti because if he countered it then it would be a disrespect to words of Indra. Lord Ram deliberately lost conscious inorder to respect the Brahmastra(infallible) and let the serpent weapon(infallible) tie him willingly because of them being infallible. Lakshmana recovered by himself after getting struck by infallible Brahma spear of Ravana . The stake was removed from Lakshmana, the slayer of enemies, and he regained his composure. He remembered his own self and that he had been born from Vishnu’s portion. Same applies on Lord Rama also who is complete incarnation of Vishnu. Lord Rama did not have any boon, then also he was totally unaffected and unmoved by the deadly Brahmastra astra of Meghnad which killed 67 crore vanaras. He himself respected that Brahmastra along with Lakshman "Honouring the spell sacred of Brahma the creator, the two sons of the venerable Dasaratha have actually lost their free will and became dejected and have allowed themselves to be knocked down by the missiles of Indrajit. Hence do not be afraid. There is no occasion for despondency now." "This excellent missile, presided over by Brahma the creator, with never-failing strength, was given to Indrajit by Brahma. Honouring it, Rama and Lakshmana the princes fell down in battle. This not a time for despondency here." ~valmiki Ramayana Yuddh Kanda Sarga 74 Karna cannot kill Rama with Vasavi Shakti because of his divinity but Lord Rama would allow the Vasavi Shakti to defeat him in order to respect boon of Indra just like he did in case of Naagpash and Infallible Brahmastra. But would have overcome this weapon after a spell of unconsciousness and then overcome Karna in battle.
