Can a cheating wife ever be trusted again? NO!! I married my high school sweetheart in 1973 while home on leave from the Navy. We were very happy for awhile, then I received information from a civilian friend that my wife was cheating when I was deployed. I was furious! I confronted her one night when she came home late, and she admitted everything and begged for forgiveness. She swore that she would never do it again. I really loved her so I forgave her. I got out of the Navy and took a good job in Florida. This moved her away from her family and friends. Two years later I found out that she was at it again. She had started out with telling me she was going to a girlfriend’s house in the evening. It got to be later and later when she came home. Finally, I waited up for her one night and she didn’t come home until 4AM. As soon as she walked through the door, I tole her that she needed to find someplace else to live. She backed out the door without question or comment. We were divorced a short time later. I still carry the scars with me today. Never trust or forgive a cheater! They will always betray you!
